Week 9-Facial and Individual lashes.

In today session I did a facial which was different to my last one, this facial was for a combination skin therefore I had to get all the right products and had to make a clay mask with different ingredients in. I used a exfoliator but because she had a rash I had to avoid the area as it was sensitive. To remove the exfoliator I used warm towels, this soothes the skin as well as taking it off. I used all the massage techniques around the shoulders, arms, neck, chest and face. When doing the massage you can either use cream or oil depending on the clients preference or how there skin is. As well as this a cleansed at the start of the facial , twice, and then at the end I used a toner and moisturiser.
Next I started to apply the lashes, this should take 20 minutes, I completed in the treatment in this time, I used clear glue which is one of the best options as she has dark lashes however you can use black glue. I applied medium lashes to the inner corner and started to gradually get longer.

Week 8-Eyebrow tint.

Today I did an eyebrow tint which I had only done a couple of times before. To tint the eyebrows you have to put Vaseline all around the eyebrows so that the tint doesn't go on the skin and stain the skin. I also had to mix the colour with the tint mix, you do this just before you apply it, then you apply on the eyebrows. You leave this on for different amount of time depending on the colour of their natural brows. However I put the tint on, left it on for around 2 minutes and took it off. I asked the client if she would like some more on and she wanted them darker, this time I only left it on for 1 minute, in case they turned out too dark. To remove the tint you can use damp cotton wool or tint remover.

Week 7-Facial and Eyebrow wax.

I did this on a client who I hadn't met before so this was nice to do as I could learn different things about the client and get to work on different skin. With the facial as I didn't know her skin type I used a soothing range which is for sensitive skin, this is the best range to have to start the facial as it is delicate. I used an exfoliator and a non-setting mask, a non-setting mask is good for dry skin/normal and as her skin type was quite normal that is why I used this. Whilst the mask was on I have the client a hand and arm massage to give her more relaxation. I used the different massage techniques around the shoulders, arms, neck and face. I ended the facial with using a toner and a moisturiser.
Next I did her eyebrows, you can only wax over the area once and because this client had thick and strong eyebrows I had to use the mag lamp and tweezers. The mag lamp also helps you to see the little eyebrows which will make them more precise.
